Senior Software Engineer (PHP/MySQL)

At Mantra Ventures we’re growing quickly and we have lots of business coming in. We are looking for a true PHP expert that loves to hack code in several languages and has fun doing it. You will Design, develop, maintain and optimize secure and scalable multi-tier web applications.

What we are looking for

• Expertise in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript(jQuery) & CSS
• Experience with PHP5 and MySQL5/MongoDB preferable.
• Self-starter with ability to learn new technologies on there own.
• The ability to iterate and ship ideas quickly.
• Good Grasp of coding and database standards.
• Comfort with both object oriented and procedural programming methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of stored procedures, triggers, indexes, table normalization and database design.
• Experience with C, C++, Java, Python, and other languages a plus.
